Equity & Inclusion Carnival

With the help of various student organizations, Educational Equity, the Graduate School, and diversity, equity, and inclusion units throughout Student Affairs, the Equity & Inclusion Carnival was established to recognize and celebrate the diversity of students here at Penn State, and to connect students with campus resources and student organizations they may not be aware of. Each year, we host two carnivals: one during Spring Welcome and one during Fall Welcome.

Below is a list of student organizations and campus resources that are hosting engagement stations at the 2023 Equity & Inclusion Fall Carnival:

  • Black Caucus
  • Office of Sexual Misconduct Reporting & Response
  • Center for Sexual and Gender Diversity
  • Office of Student Accountability and Conflict Response
  • Counseling & Psychological Services (CAPS)
  • Paul Robeson Cultural Center (PRCC)
  • Education Abroad and Global Engagement
  • Penn State Learning
  • Gender Equity Center
  • Residence Life
  • Greeks CARE
  • Student Disability Resources
  • It's On Us
  • Student Success Center and First-Gen Advocates
  • Multicultural Resource Center
  • Students United Against Poverty

In addition to the above resource, the Equity & Inclusion Fall Carnival will also feature a number of inflatables and carnival activities, caricature drawings, music, and food while supplies last.

The 2023 fall carnival would not be possible without help from the Black Caucus, the Center for Sexual and Gender Diversity, the Gender Equity Center, the Latino Caucus, the Office of Graduate Education Equity Programs, the Paul Robeson Cultural Center, Penn State Global, Student Disability Resources, and Student Orientation & Transition Programs.
